Hello Poppets and Happy Friday to you all!!

I know it’s been a while since I have done a blog about makeup. There are various reasons for this, the main one being I have doing a massive review for February favourites which is going to include all purchases from January and February that I have tried and tested, so keep an eye out for that one, should be out early March. Secondly, for those who don’t know, I was a guest blogger on Sarah’s page over at Life With Lil Red. This is a post about getting a gorgeous day time spring look, so go check that out.

This post is going to be about my favourite perfumes, high end and budget ones.

Suddenly Madame Glamour – Lidl – £3.99

16805247_10158292415360319_687815938_oYES….IT’S FROM LIDL!!!

Who would have thought you could buy perfume from a Supermarket!! This is a complete dupe for Chanel and smells absolutely gorgeous. For such a reasonable and I mean REASONABLE price, this is a must have in my perfume collection.

The bottle itself doesn’t look as high end as Chanel obviously, but for £3.99, it’s not going too. But it gets the job done and the spray is absolutely fine, distributes it well and doesn’t leak over my hands like some cheaper perfumes have.

It’s great for an every day perfume and I constantly get compliments when I wear it and people can’t believe it when I tell them where this perfume is from.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb – 100ml £79.00

This is one of my favourite perfumes, but due to the price, I do not purchase it that often. I do use it for special occasions or wait for birthdays/Christmases and request it as a present.

I love the design of this bottle, I think it looks absolutely lush and really expensive. The spray is great and distributes well. The scent is a floral one, which usually I do not like, but this one isn’t you typical flower smell, this is a lovely rich yet soft smell that lasts for hours.

I would definitely recommend this perfume for those looking to splurge.

Avon Luck for Her – £15.00 (currently £8.00) 50ml

As you can see from the picture, I haven’t used this perfume as much. It is my least favourite out of all of my favourites, but it’s still good. The reason I haven’t used it is because of all the other bottles I have been using.

This has a mixture of smells, the most obvious one to me is Sandalwood, which is probably why I like it, as this is my favourite scent when it comes to burning those smelly sticks (no idea what they are called).

The bottle itself is lovely but the lid I find a little annoying as it doesn’t stay on very well, so not one I would take travelling.

This is one of Avon’s biggest sellers…but this isn’t my favourite perfume from them.

Avon Little Black Dress – £13.00 50ml

Now this is without a doubt, my favourite Avon perfume. There is something about this that smells so fresh, expensive and sexy.

It has a quite musky smell to it, but not an over bearing one. The website claims for their “timeless classic” has the scent of honeysuckle, gardenia, jasmine, sandlewood and cashmere musk (see I said musky).

I think the bottle is really cute but again, the same problem with the lid.

When I first starting wearing this a couple of months ago, I got loads of compliments from work colleagues about the smell and how lovely it was.

This is definitely one of my favourites and would completely recommend it to those looking for a budget perfume, it definitely doesn’t smell budget though.

Marc Jacobs Decadence – £69.00 50ml

I am absolutely in love with this perfume, I wear it every single day because I don’t want it to go to waste and save it for best.

I bought this perfume in the Christmas sales after complimenting a girl a work about how amazing she smelt (I don’t go around smelling people by the way). I bought it within a gift set where you go the perfume and a body wash and it was £50.

So obviously, cheaper than the price of £69 for just the perfume, but I would completely buy this again and again without hesitation as it’s the best perfume I have had for a long time.

Don’t get me wrong, I also love my Flowerbomb perfume, but this is my number one right now.

Now let’s talk about the bottle…how gorgeous is this?! Honesty, the best bottle I have ever seen! You’d think after a while it would get annoying, but not at all. I put it pride of place on my chest of drawers.

The scent is absolutely out of this world. I find it really sophisticated and makes me feel all grown up. It has a very distinct woody smell which I love and instantly makes me feel all luxurious.

I would completely recommend this to everyone, it’s just so gorgeous. Currently on The Perfume Shop website they are selling the exact box I bought for Christmas for £37.50. I may now have to purchase this……
