It’s been a rather hectic month and I haven’t had much opportunity to test any new products. Don’t get me wrong, I have been buying and there are so many I can’t wait to try and review for you guys, but it’s just been one thing after another at the moment.

If you have been reading my posts recently, you would have seen that I did a whole month of foundation reviews, which I’ll be honest, was a really big project. A lot more work then I thought it was going to be, I did know it would be a lot, but it’s really taken it’s toll on me, to make sure the quality of the photos and writing was good. I hope if you did read them, you enjoyed them, as I am hoping to do more series like that.

So, let’s crack on with my June Favourites…random but good.

Morphe Flawless Beauty Sponge

Morphe Sponge

I love a good beauty sponge, yet I refuse to buy the Beauty Blender…don’t ask me why. But I was eager to try the new Morphe one, especially when I saw it being used by some of my favourite YouTubers.

I purchased this from Beauty Bay, order and delivery was quick as always and this cost me £7.50, this is £1.51 more than my usual Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

I am a big fan of Morphe products, so I was quite hopeful when I first starting using this and as always…Morphe has delivered.

This sponge is great for blending out my foundation, makes it look very airbrushed, doesn’t soak up too much product either. I like the shape of it, flat on the bottom for bouncing the foundation in and then pointing at the top to get into the nooks and crannies on my face. It is really easy to clean as well, as the foundation hasn’t really sunk into it.

I will continue to purchase this and much prefer it over my Real Techniques sponge.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

Milani Blusher

Now this is a purchase from a long time ago and I have done a post on it before, but it’s something I stopped using for a while as I found another blusher I was really into. Then for some reason, I picked this up one day and I have not been able to put this down.

This is a gorgeous pink colour, really great for every look, but the beauty of this blusher is that is has a sheen to it. Not like a glitter or a shimmer, but like a wet glisten that to me, just is gorgeous and gives me a beautiful glow when I wear it.

I purchased this off Beauty Bay and checking the website again, it costs £10, but I personally don’t remember paying that much for it, so I am wondering whether it has gone up in price or whether I had my “screw it” glasses on, where I just purchase anything without looking at the price *face palm*.

When it comes to products like blushers, I don’t always mind spending a lot, as it takes a long time to use the whole product. I am no where near hitting pan and I have had it for at least 6 months. So I am quite happy to pay £10 for a blusher as good as this, with great pigmentation and such good quality.

Beautyblender Blendercleanser

Solid Cleanser

I have a lot of makeup brushes, if you check my Instagram, you will see how bad my addiction is getting.

My usual cleaning routine is just using Baby Shampoo, as it’s so gentle, it doesn’t damage the brushes. I decided I wanted to try something different, as I was noticing that I wasn’t getting them as clean as I think they could be and I was getting a little bit of build up.

I decided to purchase the Solid Cleanser from Beauty Blender, again I got this from Beauty Bay, think I have an obsession with that site.

I am so glad I purchased this, my brushes have never been so clean, they were like brand new again.

The only disappointment was the price of the item, for £14 you only get 28g product and when it arrived, I was surprised at the size of it. The description does say it’s travel friendly, but didn’t expect it to be miniature size!

But as the saying goes, it’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it and for that reason, I would repurchase.

Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel

Muscle Gel

I am subscribed to a monthly beauty bag called Love Me Beauty. I have had quite a good experience with them so far and I hope it continues. The gist of this is you get 60 credits a month for £13.95 to pick products from their edit and they send you them.

One of the products was this Muscle Gel and the reason I decided to get this was because I have been suffering with my back and shoulders recently and I usually use Deep Heat but I thought this was worth a try.

The scent is lavender, so I find it really soothing and has actually been helping me sleep also. But it has made my muscles feel so good and I actually much prefer to it deep heat, mainly because of the smell.

Now this is something I probably wouldn’t repurchase, due to the price. This product retails for £25 and I couldn’t justify spending that much! What I did do though, is when my credits renewed I decided to get another bottle of it to keep me going for a little bit longer.

In other news, I have been addicted to Love Island on ITV2!! I am obsessed with it, I can’t stop watching it. I know it’s so cheesy and cringe, but I FRICKING love it!!

A blog I have been really loving this month is ‘It’s Life’s Little Pleasures’ with Suzanne Johnston. She covers a wide range of beauty products, but also covers Bridal  ideas on how to make your day special. Her site is absolutely gorgeous and her posts are so interesting to read. I am also a massive fan of her Instagram page, love her photos and always make sure I keep up to date with her site.

These are my June favourites and I am so looking forward to hopefully having a more relaxed July and finding more products that I absolutely love.
