I haven’t done a post like this before, but I always see them floating about and I find them really interesting. To see what products people are going through and whether they’d repurchase them.
Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Wipes
I usually use the original ones, but I have heard so many people talking about these wipes and how good they are, so thought I had to give them a go.
These weren’t on offer when I bought them and I always wait for the Simple Original Wipes to go on a multipack sale, but these weren’t on any offer, disappointing.
I wouldn’t say these were any better than the originals. I heard they were wetter making it softer when removing make up, but I didn’t notice this. If anything I thought they were a little rougher on my skin.
I will be sticking with my originals for the time being, if the Micellar ones were on offer, I might buy them, but for the price, the originals do the job for me.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner
At one point, I was really obsessed with The Body Shop, I still am, but just budget myself now, so I don’t spend as much.
I decided to buy 3 products from their Tea Tree range, this being one and to me, this is a great toner, especially if you are suffering from spots or blackheads.
I found the tea tree oil in the product really helped to dry and minimise my spots. The smell is really strong, but something I ended up loving about it and a scent I really liked. I did find it quite drying on the rest of my skin, but once moisturised, it was absolutely fine.
This is something I would buy again, but not right now, I want to try out a new toner, but if I didn’t find a good one, then this is something I would definitely go back too.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I am not going to talk about this much, as I have done numerous posts on this foundation and it’s my holy grail.
If you want to read my thoughts on this foundation, click here.
I get through bottles of this foundation a year, so will probably always make it to my empties. Half way through another bottle already and got one on stand by.
Obviously, this is something I would repurchase…again and again….and again.
Another one of my holy grails, this primer is brilliant in filling those pesky pores. The silicone in the product helps makes your skin more flawless and smooth.
It is an expensive product, but I do find, because you only use a little bit in the areas that needs it, the amount makes the tube last longer and I don’t need to repurchase as often as you think.
Something I would repurchase…unless I could find something that did the same job.
Benefit Precisely my Brow
I have a lot of my favourite products in my empties and this one is no different, just got to show, I get through a lot of products that I truly use every day.
I have done a post on this in the past, you can click here to see my full thoughts on it.
Without a doubt, my favourite eyebrow product on this earth. I never used to be much of an eyebrow person, but now I can’t leave the house without them on.
Forever Living Aloe Lips
This lip balm keeps my lips so smooth, once applied, it feels a bit gelish and made my lips feel nice and plump.
It hydrated my lips for hours, I would put it on at night before going to sleep and my lips would feel so soft and wow!
It is something I would repurchase, especially as it’s only £2.50 and I think it’s totally worth it, so natural.
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap
This is a weird one for me…as this is one of the products I first reviewed on my site. Reviewing the 3 Step Skincare Routine from Clinique was such an eye opener to me, as this really made me think about how I should be looking after my skin.
It may be an expensive skincare collection, but this bottle lasted me for 6 months, not to shabby eh.
At first I didn’t like it, the scent put me off with being so clinical, but in the end I absolutely loved it and now I am not using it, I actually miss it. Does the job and makes me skin feel fresh in the morning.
Would I repurchase, I don’t know, I am currently using a new facial soap, but it hasn’t won me over yet, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Thank you for reading and if you enjoyed this, let me know and I will continue to collect up all my empties.
