Hello my poppets!

I can’t believe it’s another month gone already, it feels like Christmas is just around the corner….argh!! I’ll have to start shopping soon, so I can get ahead of the game.

April was a great month for new finds and I am so excited to share them with you.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

Cocoa Palette April Favs.jpg

I have been dying to try a Zoeva palette for such a long time and after doing research, I decided to get this one and I am so happy I did. This palette created one of my all time favourite eye looks…

The colours can create so many different looks and I can use it for a daytime or a night time looks, making this palette so diverse. I have written a review on this palette in much more detail, you can view this here.

Soap and Glory Speed Plump All Day Super Moisture Marvel

S&G Primer April Favourites

I personally use this moisturiser as a primer and I have used it in the past, but I thought it broke out my skin. I decided to try it again this month, as I hate to see a wasted product just sitting in my draw. I still use my Benefit POREfessional, but only where I need it, I then use this on the rest of my face.

THANK YOU SKIN GODS! It does not break my skin out, it must have been something else, which is great, as I love this as a primer. It has a really tacky feel on the skin when you apply it, which is great when it comes to applying foundation, as it really sticks to it.

Jeffree Starr Velour Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin

Jeffree Starr April Favourites

I bought two of these Jeffree Starr liquid lipsticks a couple of months back, I did a review on those which you can view here. I liked them so much I decided to purchase two more and this one has completely taken over my life.

This is Celebrity Skin and usually nude liquid lipsticks I find very drying and don’t stay on the lips very well. This one is a completely different story, it is without a doubt, my favourite nude liquid lipstick hands down. The formula is brilliant, not drying at all, it has a great pay off, the colour is on point and you don’t need to put layers on to get the true colour and it is long lasting. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!!

The Groovy Food Company Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil April Favourites.jpg

I have recently been doing some research into the many uses of coconut oil. A friend at work used this on her hair and raved about it, so I decided to get some. Now to me, coconut oil is all the same, just pick up the cheapest in your local supermarket, that’s what I did.

I will be writing a full review on this, but this has done wonders to my hair, it’s made my hair so soft and also starting to get rid of my dry scalp. I will be continuing to use this and finding out more ways in which this can be used, so make sure you keep your eyes out for that post.

Others Things I Have Been Enjoying This Month

Film – Beauty and the Beast – went to see this at the cinema and it was absolutely amazing, I would really recommend it. I was unsure about seeing this as I thought it would never live up to the Disney film, but oh my, it was spectacular.

TV Series – Santa Clarita Diet – I was recommended this programme on Netflix by pretty much everyone on my Facebook. I really didn’t think this was going to be a good role for Drew Barrymore, but god she nailed it. In a nutshell, Drew Barrymore basically becomes a modern day, look exactly the same, zombie. The programme is based around where she is going to get her next meal and the trials and tribulations of every day life. I would definitely recommend it, was so sad when I got to the end of the first season and realised there wasn’t another one for me too watch.

TV Series – Bones – This TV series ended this month, to my disappointment! It’s something I have watched since the beginning and absolutely loved. For those who like their American crime programmes, I would recommend this one, it’s one of my favourites. It’s based around the two main characters, an forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent, working together to solve crimes. For me it’s really interesting as you get to see how the forensic team work out who the killer is by looking at the victims body. I really like everyone in this TV programme, it’s a brilliant cast. There are so many twists and turns within the storylines and it makes it really interesting to watch. So much so, I have started the series again from the beginning.

Blogger – Jessica Jade Beauty – Jess is one of the bloggers who I continually read every single week, I even know her post schedule and ensure I keep an eye out so I can be one of the first to read. I would definitely recommend everyone visiting her site, she doesn’t just talk about Beauty, but she gives great tips and advice for other bloggers and things every person needs to know about how to have a chilled weekend.

Well I hope you’ve all enjoyed reading and I am really looking forward to new things I discover in May.

Until next time…
